It's a????
Today I had my monthly checkup and decided that I would beg my doc to take a peak so that I didn't have to come back on Friday for my ultrasound, well he said that he wouldn't be able to tell with his machine but he said I don't see why they can't do it now, so he called down to ultrasound and there happening to be a open spot. So we all headed downstairs and the whole time I'm thinking I would really like a girl but don't full yourself you know that it's going to be a boy, so we get all set up ( the tech lady was so awesome and sweet) and I'm totally looking for those two lines but what do we see instead?? yep you got it it's a BOY!!!!! all I could do was smile and laugh. We are very excited to add another little precious baby boy to our family but he may not have a name for awhile, like I said feel free to pass along any boy names.

Bun in the oven!!!
Again if you know us and the Whitney family then you know that there are NO girls in the family, Dan's dad came from a family of 4 boys and Dan's dad had three boys and we have 2 boys and Dan's brother Nick has 2 boys so do you see where I'm going with this? seriously where are the girls? Don't get me wrong I will be more then happy with either gender and a healthy baby but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The funny thing is I have been looking for girls bed sets but looking at boy names, and so far I have not found any boy names at all and I say to myself is this a sign? ha ha!!

Police arrested a man suspected of leaving his 2-year-old child in a car while he watched The Dark Knight. (KUTV) The passerby called 9-1-1 and police and paramedics arrived at the theater. The child was rescued from the car. Police said the temperature inside the vehicle was about 87 degrees.Police entered the theater, arrested Farnham and booked him into the Salt Lake County Jail on suspected felony child abuse. The boy was treated and released at the scene and was given to his mother. He is in good condition.
***I'm sure most of you have heard this story on the news, how can someone honestly leave there own child in a car? There has been story after story about a parent leaving there kid in car and then dying. I have always said you never know how things could happen unless you are in that situation but seriously how could you forget about your child and leave them in a car only to come back to more then likely that they have died, how do you forget when you are the one that puts them in the car and I'm sure you talk to them and can hear them play but then you get out and forget about them.
This topic was talked about a few weeks ago on Good Morning America and they were giving ideas on ways NOT to forget about your child, they suggested to put your purse on the floor in the back seat or to put a teddy bear in the front seat next to you so that it reminds you that your child is in the car seat, are you freaking kidding me!! why can you remember your purse but not you child . I think that is so sad that it comes down to a purse and teddy bear, your live with your child day and night, take care of them, feed them, bath them, read to them etc.. but you can forget about them and leave them in your car. My heart breaks every time I hear about these stories and for the most part the child dies but luckily this child survived.

Bear Lake Rocks!!
The boys and I rode to Bear Lake with G-ma Ann and Todd on Thursday(Dad meet us Friday evening). We stayed in a family cabin with about 30 family members and had a great time. We arrived Thursday afternoon and went straight to the beach and had a great time, the boys couldn't get enough of the water and had fun building sand castles. Mommy was able to relax on the beach with a great book while G-ma and Todd took the boys out on the boat for a fun ride and then came back and just played around on the boat for another hour, at night the whole gang got together and played games, watched movies and ran all over the place. All in all it was a fabulous vacation but are glad to be home.
My nasty sun burn ouch!!

Non-stop
Wow!! I feel like I have been going non stop since June. It started with my trip to Georgia (June 5th-10th) to visit my sister and my two nephews then I came home for about 6 days only to leave again for girls camp (June 16th-20th) and that just wore me out so I vegged that next week and then my sister and nephews came out here for a visit (June 26th- July 6th). They stayed with my dad who lives like three minutes away so that was nice, well just two days after they arrived my dad bought a new house in "BFE" Magna, so we were busy packing and helping him move.
I was a little afraid I would have a hard time keeping my sister and boys entertained but luckily my dad took the week off to help keep them busy. So basically we did something everyday all day and it was so much fun. We went to Lagoon, Classic skating, parks, hiking, swmimming. My mom has a little party at her house with our aunts, uncles and cousins for my sister and also because my little bro was home for a visit for two weeks. Jordan and Ryken could not get enough of there cousins, all they wanted to do was wrestle 24/7 so it was hard for them went it was time for them to go home to Georgia.
It was really nice to have my brother home for a couple weeks, he left July 4th for Manhattan, Kansas and will be staying there until he leaves for Iraq in October. Luckily he will get to come home and visit before that happens. I know I have said this before but we are so very proud of him and love him so much.
Just when things seem to get back to normal I totally forgot that we are going to Bear lake this week, holy cow!! I'm really excited my boys really like Bear Lake and will have a blast with all there cousins. Well I'm going to post some randoms pictures of all that have been going on.
