I gotta ticket

On the way home from a fun day at the park with our friends I freaking got a stupid ticket. To make matters worse, it was in a contruction zone. This is my first ticket in like 8 years. SUCK!! I was doing so good. I for sure thought that the cop would give me a warning. Nope, instead I (my husband) will be paying a $214 dollar ticket. Cops suck!!(no offense Dad).

Chick-fil-a

So on Wednesday my crazy sister in law called and asked if I wanted to camp out at the new chick fil-a in South Jordan, and earlier I had heard on the radio that the first 100 people in line they would receive 1 free combo meal a week for a year so when Kelli called I was so down for tagging along. So Jer, Kelli and I packed up the car with blankets, tent, games and our crazy selves and drove as fast as we could to chick-fil-a, when we got there we had to get everything out of our cars before we could register because we weren't aloud to go to our car again, so the three of us were number32, 33 and 34 in line. With our tent and stuff organized we decided to watch American Idol with a group of ladies that brought their tv but that was until it started raining. Although it was really cold and raining on and off, the night was a lot of fun. Randomly they would do role call and play games. We also got free nuggets and had a ice cream party. Eventually we fell asleep only to be woken up at 5:00 a.m to get everything going, they gave is a t-shirt and hat to wear for the grand opening, the doors finally opened at 6:30 and one by one we went inside and got our free meal tickets. I have to say that waiting 12 hours was worth the wait I have not had that much fun or laughed that hard for a long time.

Furry Logic (a guide to life's little challenges)

I borrowed this book from my Grandma Wilde and thought is was really cute and wanted to share a couple quotes.

1.If you don't agree with me, it means... you haven't been listening. (this is my favorite)

2. I would be unstoppable. If I could just get started.

3. If at first you don't succeed, try not to look too astonished.

4. No one is listening until you make a mistake.

5. When you're in it up to your ears... it pays to keep your mouth shut.

6. You don't have to agree with me, but it's quicker.

7.The quickest way for parent to get a child's attention.. is to sit down and look comfortable.

8. I want it all- and I want it delivered

9. Never eat more than you can lift.

10. It's been lovely. But I have to SCREAM now.

Movie night

So the boys and I were running some errands earlier and passed a park and I noticed that they were setting up for a movie so we called Grandma J and Aunt Kendra to meet us at the park to watch Charlotte's Webb. It was a lot of fun but a little on the chilly side but the boys still have a great time. I found out that they have movies once a month at different parks so I decided that might be out little family tradition.

Weird

So today the boys and I dropped Dan off at the Harley store to get ready for his 4 day Harley ride(I'll post all that when he gets back). Anyways on the way home I stopped at McDonald's and ordered my food and asked that cheese be added and the guy taking my order said sure for you I will because you sound so lovely, I'm like um ya ok whatever so I pull up to the first window to pay and the guys asked how I was and I replied and then asked him back and he said I'm doing just fine because I was right about you you are just as lovely as I thought you sounded. Why the heck are people so freaking weird? I mean that the freak do you say to a person like that?

Allergies suck!

So I wake up Monday morning like at 2:00am and my left eye is all wet a yucky, so I try to go back to sleep and then wake up later with my eye stuck closed. I look in the mirror and my eye is freaking red as can be and just itches and sore I'm like crap do I have "pink eye", so I go all Monday and Tuesday with a irritated eye and then wake up this morning to my right eye all messed up so now I have two blood shot eyes that make me look I'm high. I decided to go to the doctors and get it taken care of and cross my fingers that my kids so catch anything from me. Luckily I was told it is not pink eye just really bad allergies and was sent home with eye drops(and still looking high).

So to add to my kinda crappy week Jordan decided he wanted to sleep with me and was all over the place and so close to falling of the bed so many times I just picked him up and put him back to bed and let me tell you that was a huge mistake, he freaked out and was screaming at the top of his lungs "I don't want to" (mind you this is 4 a.m) and would not stop but luckily didn't wake Ryken up. This screaming went on for 20 minutes he would get off my bed so finally I took my stuff and went to sleep on the couch and of course he came crying after me until he finally crashed on the couch, then I swear I only slept for a minute when I hear Ryken get up I was like oh my heck give me a break. Hear I am with two gobbery eyes all I want is to just sleep. I'm crossing my fingers that the rest of the week will be good but it doesn't help that Danny will be out of town until late Sunday. Awwww!!

Mother's Day

Mother's day was great! to start the day my cute little boys and my wonderful husband made me breakfast in bed( french toast and eggs). Then I received the best present ever, my boys made me a picture Cd with my favorite song( My wish, Rascal Flatts) it was so adorable and precious I just had to get teary eyed. Then I went to church with my mom, sister and Grandma and they came home to a sparkling clean house and enjoyed a nice day and went to church again and got to see my big guy Jordan sing with his primary class(he did such a good job), after church we ate a yummy dinner with my mother in-law Ann and Nick, Nicole, Jeremy, Kelli and the 4 cute kids.

I hope that everyone had a great Mother's day, I believe it is the hardest job in the world and I know that I can get stressed out sometimes (OK a lot!!) but I really do love my boys more then anything in the word.

Harley Ride

Dang! my husband is HOT!!! (I made him pose)

My extremely hot husband took me for a Harley ride tonight, I really don't like to go on rides that often but it sounded fun tonight. We took a ride out to his grandparents to help with yard work, it was such a nice day and therefore made the ride really enjoyable. Dan makes fun of me because I'm such a wuss and won't let him take me on the freeway, up/down hills, too fast, sharp corners and the list could go on. So he's like what you want to just go on up and down the street? Um ya that sounds good ha ha!!

So like I said we went to Dan's grandparents and had some yummy dinner and all the guys did the yard clean up while the mom's watched their kids play. My boys had a really fun time playing with there cousins and somewhat helping with the yard work. We also had a fun play date at the park earlier today with a few girls I went to high school with, it was good to sit and chat. Thanks for the invite Brooke!

Purse Fanatic

I just wanted to share with everyone my new purse, I think a lot of people that know me know that I like purses ok! I really really like purses, I counted them tonight and I have 25 and I'm sure that numbers will get higher and higher. I got most of my purses in New York and Hong Kong because you can get such an awesome deal (and there good quality). When we went to New York we kind of went on a shopping spree and Dan was like can't you pick anything other then purses? I'm like no way not when I can't get them for like $10 bucks. But HK was even better it was definitely an advantage to have my hot husband speak Chinese and get them to drop the prices plus he sounds really hot.

I don't know what it is but I just love them and I for sure put them to use, I was also like that with diaper bags I think I had 5 different ones. I love that I don't need a diaper bag, now that the boys are older I don't need to pack as much and therefore can use all my cute purses.

Autism walk/pictures

Today we walked in the Autism walk. We went with my mom, and our friends the Bramble's. It was perfect weather for the walk, not too cold or hot. The boys had a good time walking around, playing games, and eating free ice cream. Jordan was really excited when he got his picture taken with " Star Wars" characters. He even got a Star Wars tattoo and trading card. The boys also met a couple other fun characters.
The walk was for a fantastic cause that we feel strongly about, and there was an excellent turnout. The only minor issue was the walk was at Cottowood High School, and it just wasn't big enough for all the people. It is a good problem to have such a high turnout and raise awarness of Autism, it just made it hard to walk at a decent pace. In fact, by the time we walked the first lap we were told that there were a lot of people that still hadn't started their first lap and that we would have to wait for lap two. So, we decided that the one lap would be just fine. Great day, great cause, WE LOVE YOU TYLER!!!!

I miss my big sister

Some of you may or may not know, but my big sister moved to Georgia about 3 years ago. It has totally sucked. For being only 14 months apart we got along well for the most part, other than the usual little cat fights(which is common). We even had a few jobs that we worked together, like the good 'ol days at the Delta Center. Wow, that was a long long time ago. I also had the pleasure of working with her for 3 years at ARUP(she had authority over me). We had so many fun times at ARUP. Not only did I work with Chandra but she so graciously let me be a part of her group of friends and we all worked together and had a blast.

I have missed her so much lately. Luckily I have a trip planned to go and visit her in June for a week. I can't wait. It will be so much fun(my dad and our friend Crystol are going as well). As if that wasn't enough, she will be coming to Utah to visit our family and will stay for awhile. It will be so awesome to have her around again, and catch up on good times. I'm also excited that our boys will have a fun summer together. Chandra, I just want you to know that I freaking love your guts and can't wait to see you and the boys.

Here are a few pictures us the two of us :)
