Why?

Oh my gosh I just want to scream, is it too much to ask that my boys go to bed and stay in bed when I put them down? well apparently to them it is, every single night with out fell it takes them 2 plus hours to finally fall a sleep and that's after putting them in bed multiple times and chasing them around. For example yesterday we had a play date with the Fitch's and went to the park and had a picnic and then came back here and playing outside and them went on a walk so the boys did not get a nap at well so ya would think that they would be tired and would go to bed easy, well ha ha! Jordan went to bed pretty good around 9:00-9:30 but the little stink Ryken did not go to bed until 11:45. Seriously no matter if I give them a nap or not then NEVER go to bed good.

Jordan will every now and then will say he can't do something or its "too hard" well now Ryken has decided to say that as well and will not do anything, I ask him to get in his car seat and he says no its hard mom. So I have some crazy kids on my hands and if anyone has any advise please feel free to make a comment.

Walk Route:
The walk will be 3 laps around the Cottonwood High School campus, with multiple turn-out areas for those that need to head back to the event space. The entire route is flat and wheelchair and stroller/wagon-friendly.This walk is non-competitive and is not an “endurance” event – please come prepared to enjoy a casual day in the community for families, friends and children!

Jazz

Dan and I went to the Jazz game last night with our friends Mike and Liz (and some of their friends). We all meet at Apollo for some good grub and then headed to the ESA. Wow, There were tons of people! That always makes it more fun. Despite needing the equivalent of a short day hike to our seats that were second to the top r0w, it was fun. In fact, it was so much fun that Dan had tears of joy as you can see from the picture (okay, it was just allergies but we really did have a lot of fun). Go Jazz!!!

Hilarious

I came across this picture the other day and could do nothing bu laugh my head off, it seriously is the funniest picture ever!! It was taken Christmas 2005 so Jordan would have been 1, we decided to take him to see Santa with his friends Drew and cousin Malia but as you can tell Jordan was freaked out and what is the best is the disgusted look on Drew's face, its a look that says what the he$$ is your problem.

Jordan's new hat

Jordan got a new hat today(from papa Bell) and wanted me to take a picture, he thinks he's pretty cool because his daddy has the same hat. He also got new sandal's and the minute we got home he changed his clothes and put together a new outfit all on his own, wearing a polo shirt, running pants a cool hat and new sandal's, he really doesn't match but he was very proud of himself. By the way Lids store sells really cute toddler skater hats.

Jordan:

So the other day I come home and the house/his room wast a disaster (mind you it was clean when I left) so I went around and started picking up and cleaning and then I asked Jordan is he would help put away the things he played with. As usually he started whining and said mom "cleaning is just too hard on me “I said really? ya mom I get headaches, all I could do was laugh and give him a break for being so cute. Jordan has also been in such a creative mood and will be off playing by himself and I will occasional hear him talking and he has quite the imagination, he could be playing with just a couple random toys but be in another world. He is also into Star wars(only because is cousin is) it is so funny he knows more characters then Dan does so whenever Jordan has a question about Star wars Dan tells him to ask his Uncle Nick. Jordan defiantly keeps me busy but is a great help around the house (when he doesn't have a headache ha ha!) and helps with Ryken.




Ryken:



I'm sure some of you know this about Ryken but let me tell you anyways. If Ryken does not get what he wants or when he wants something he will go around and destroy things, and here is the list he will dump the garbage over, rip my plants apart, take out every single movie we have and through them everywhere, he rips all cushions of the couch, will get on top on the kitchen table and just stand there, he throws my decorations around and the list could go on and on but the one that made me mad the other day was he was sitting at the table eating breakfast and started making a huge mess with his food and I kept telling him not to or I would get him down, well he looked right at me and said "NO" and took a full cup of milk and dumped it all over the table. I was like are you freaking kidding me it was everywhere and all dripping down the legs and onto the carpet, oh my gosh I just wanted to scream.

Gilgal Gardens

Today my dad and I took the boys downtown to see the Gilgal Gardens( a historic sculpture garden), I use to go there with my dad and sister when I was younger, back then I didn't really know what is was about and just ran around. The boys had fun just wondering around and climbing all over the rocks.

The garden contains 12 original sculptural arrangements and over 70 stones engraved with scriptures, poems, and philosophical tests. Each represents an idea that rang of truth to child in his life-long spiritual quest. Together, the sculptures and stones create a landscape of meaning and a unique work of art.

It defiantly is a interesting place, if anyone wants to see it its 749 East 500 South, S.L.C

Biggest Loser Rocks!!

Holy cow! did anyone watch the season finale of the biggest loser? I freaking love that show, I watched it whenever I could but made sure that I watched the finale. I was totally rooting for Ali she is so amazing, and its about time that a girl won. I can not believe how great she looks, I totally need a trainer like Bob and Jillian. I had not idea that they are gone for 4 months that would be so hard but so rewarding. Way to go Ali!!!

Bee's game

Today we went to the Bee's baseball game with our friends the Starley's and the boys Papa Bell. It was a beautiful day for the game, it was nice to be able to just chill and hang out and watch a good game, we sat on the grass next to the playground area where the boys had fun playing and watching the game, although we were having fun we left the game a little early so the boys could be a little nap in before it got to late. Also Jordan was really excited to meet the Bee mascot, Dan told him to take his glove and get him to sign it but Jordan say "no" I want him to sign my name but the mascot took off before Jordan to get him.

Lunch dates

So the boys and I went to Crystol's yesterday for lunch, which is fine and all other then we are the only two left here in Utah. My boys still had fun playing with Haylie and Ashtin, we even got to walk Haylie to the bus stop and see her off. I can't beleive that from the 7 of us friends that there are only two left on good 'ol Utah. For some of you that don't know these are my friends that I went to Junior high with and also worked with at ARUP. If my memory serves me correct Nicole is the first one to move and lives in North Dakota, Treasure lives in Arizona, Mandy has been in Alaska and recently moved to Missouri, Missy also recently moved at lives in Idaho and basically fell of the face of the earth(have anyone heard from her ha ha!) and my wonderful sister lives in Georgia and so that leaves us with me and Crystol how sad is that? I'm hoping that we can plan a lake Powell trip for summer of '09. I love and miss everybody :)
