Girls camp(2)

I made it back in once piece from hanging out with teenage girls for a week. I had a lot of fun and that had to do a lot with the fact that we stayed in nice cabins, had running water, bathrooms and showers. I'm not a huge fan when it come to camping but I made it through this one. The stake leaders that were in charge did an amazing job and kept all of us entertained the whole time.

The first day we arrived at camp they had the girls do a challenge course where is was a 25-foot high, in-harness activity. Each of the challenge courses has a unique high ropes aerial activity which could include a 2-line traverse 25 feet above the ground, a 200 foot zip line and rappelling. After all the girls we done they let the leader try it and for some odd reason I really wanted to do it, and for me that was weird because I'm a huge wuss and never do that kind of stuff but I did and it was awesome but scary at the same time, my mouth was so dry and I was shaking as I was going across I didn't even want to breath or swallow but I made it and I will never do it again. We also went to Legacy Lake and had a great time with the canoes and paddle boats. All in all it was a great camping trip. I don't have any pictures to post because I didn't take my camera.

Sounds like fun! Are you going to take up Extreme Sports now? :-) Glad you survived - I don't think I could have handled being alone with teenage girls for a week!!

I think all girls camps should have cabins, showers, and flushable non-smelling bathrooms.
Glad you survived!

I'm glad you made it back safe. :-) Heber Valley camp is so posh it can hardly be called camping. ;-) That's awesome you even did the ropes course. I was 4 months along last year when we went so they suggested I not do it. (great excuse for me :-)

Welcome back!

Sounds like so much fun. No fair, the 3 years I went to girls camp we didn't have any cabins. But I would have loved it. I am glad you had a good time. Danielle told me that you did the high wire thing. That is awesome.
